I managed the company’s voice, brand, and image across all stakeholder communities; developed core marketing and brand assets; and implemented an education and training program, engaging diverse communities and demonstrating thought leadership across biotech, fashion, design, and sustainability. Also deeply involved in developing internal policies and practices around wellbeing and inclusivity.

I managed an interdisciplinary research initiative that brought together academics, commercial partners and policy makers to produce novel research and innovation related to synthetic biology. I designed and implemented a multi-platform communications strategy and executed a robust program of training, education, and engagement events.

I cultivated the global community around this independent arts and culture magazine that has been in publication in Kyoto for over 30 years. I developed a multimedia outreach campaign utilizing social media [Facebook (213k+), Instagram (25k) and Twitter (4k)], a subscription newsletter, collaborations with local businesses and artists, and a wide range of educational and cultural events including talks, exhibitions, film screenings, poetry readings, and workshops.
